Marketing and Communications
UW Educational Outreach provides to its partners the skills and experience of the only fully staffed marketing team on the UW campus in Seattle. Our marketing team includes researchers, graphic designers, production staff, web development and content managers, product managers and a public relations manager. The combined expertise of the UW Educational Outreach marketing team provides our partners the tools needed to gain an edge over competitors and successfully launch and maintain their fee-based programs.
Program Management
The UW Educational Outreach associate directors support partners with logistical issues such as budgeting, troubleshooting student problems, suggesting the best format and price for programs, and building an advisory board. We also help to identify instructors, help with recruitment, coordinate the application process and identify target audiences. From development to implementation, our associate directors help our partners' programs succeed.

- Registration - individuals/groups

- Transcripting (noncredit)
- Schedule classroom and labs, equipment and texts

Intellectual Property Management
- Corporate/organization agreements
- Instructor/developer contract templates
- Licenses for third party use of UW materials
Distance Learning Design
- Provide instructors input about appropriate instructional technologies
- Help with distance learning course text
- Integrate Catalyst and other tools into courses
- Work to ensure proper student/faculty infrastructure
Video Production and Streaming Video
- Studio classroom video production for distribution via streaming video, DVD, CD-ROM or videotape
- Integration of video production with Web conferencing for long-distance collaboration
- Audio or video podcasting services
- Field video production for instructional or promotional purposes
Computing
- Creation, updating and maintenance of databases (instructor, students, courses, financial, etc.)
- Monitor, update, and maintain computer labs (Harbor, Bellevue, Parrington)
Teaching Facilities
- Downtown Centers (Harbor and Puget Sound Buildings)
- Bellevue Center
Fiscal
- Budget and budget modeling services
- Account for program expenses and distribute funds as appropriate
- Pay services, invoice billing, collections and refund processing
