Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the UW opens
In Autumn 2006, the new Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at the University of Washington (OLLI - UW) opened its doors to provide adults over 50 an opportunity to come together in a lively learning environment to explore intellectual and cultural topics of interest, share their experiences and talents, and make new friends.
Made possible through a grant from the Bernard Osher Foundation, OLLI - UW includes workshops, short courses and special events. Classes will be offered on the UW campus, at Trilogy at Redmond Ridge, and at various locations throughout the Seattle metropolitan area. The classes are led by current and retired UW faculty and community experts.
