How do individuals with disablities access course materials?

UWEO course materials are designed to meet Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act Ammendements of 1998. Course materials are accessible to students who are blind or have low vision, who cannot navigate using a mouse, or who have a hearing impairment. If students need further accommodations, the Student Handbook provides the following information:

"The University of Washington is committed to providing access, equal opportunity and reasonable accommodation in its services, programs, activities, education and employment for individuals with disabilities. To request disability accommodation, contact the Disability Services office at 206-543-6450/voice, 206-543-6452/TTY, 206-685-7264 (fax), or e-mail dso@u.washington.edu at least 10 days prior to the start of your course or examination.
