The OpenUW Courses are designed to spark your interest in lifelong learning and familiarize you with online education. The OpenUW Courses are noncredit, and you will not receive any academic credential, such as a certificate or degree, upon completing these courses. The OpenUW Courses are accessible free-of-charge, provided that the following terms and conditions are followed.
The contents of the OpenUW Courses are intended for your personal educational enrichment. You may access and use the OpenUW Courses for your own personal use, provided such use is nonpublic and noncommercial.

Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the University of Washington, its employees, content providers or any other party who has contributed to the OpenUW Courses, be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, or profits; or business interruption) however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of the OpenUW Courses content, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
The University of Washington provides the OpenUW Courses to promote both lifelong learning and distance education. Any personally identifiable information that you provide will be used only for the purpose of making you aware of additional lifelong learning opportunities. UW will not sell or distribute the information you provided to parties outside of the University.
