Course Description
In this class, we shall explore insights of beauty and wisdom from each of the Tradition's holy books and experience the heartfelt practices of prayers, meditations and chants from those religions. Among other topics, we shall learn about the various spiritual paths in Hinduism: Bhakti, Jnana, Raja and Karma Yoga; the philosophy of the four noble truths and the eight-fold path in Buddhism; the understanding of wu wei in Taoism and spiritual guidance in the Quran, the holy book of Muslims.

Rahman is Muslim Sufi Minister at Interfaith Community Church and adjunct faculty at the School of Theology and Ministry, Seattle University. Along with a rabbi and pastor, he is a co-host of Interfaith Talk Radio and is the author of
The Fragrance of Faith: the Enlightened Heart of Islam and a forthcoming book titled
Spiritual Guidance in the Quran. He has a passion for Interfaith work and believes that Interfaith is not about conversion but about completion. Rahman often travels locally, nationally and internationally, facilitating workshops, seminars and retreats.
