Advising

Advisers can answer your questions about online learning and how it might fit into your educational plans. They can also provide general information about degree completion and admission requirements, and grant approval if you want to enroll in more than two online learning courses at one time. All online learning students are expected to have adequate English language proficiency.

If you are a current UW student seeking consultation on degree requirements, it is best to talk with your assigned department or Mary Gates adviser first to determine if online learning is appropriate for you.

Contact an Adviser
Advising is available by appointment in-person or by phone, Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m. – 7 p.m. (PST), and Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. (PST). To talk with an adviser, please call 206-543-6160 or 1-800-543-2320; or e-mail advisers@extn.washington.edu.

If you're a prospective student working toward admission and a degree plan, please bring transcripts from all institutions you've attended to your appointment.
