Goals
Osaka University Graduate School of Engineering wanted their students to have an opportunity to

  • improve their English for effective communication in the global engineering community
  • understand the American university system
  • gain valuable cross-cultural experiences

Solution
Bring Osaka University's graduate students to an intensive four-week course. Introduce them to American graduate school and improve their ability to express ideas in English. Provide them with a variety of valuable cultural and professional experiences. In collaboration with the UW Department of Engineering, the program allows students to apply engineering fundamentals to an intensive, short-term course on nanotechnology.
