Database Management Fundamentals

The following course fulfills prerequisite requirements for the Graduate Degree in Strategic Planning for Critical Infrastructures. This course is also an optional preliminary course for the Geographic Information Systems Certificate Program and the SQL Server Specialist Certificate Program.

URBDP 301 - Provides an introduction to database management concepts such as definition of data elements and basic data structures, data modeling, and systems architectures. Participants are introduced to some of the leading database management products and design tools currently in use.
