PSYCH 206 (I&S) Major theoretical perspectives and research methods in child development with an overview of historical as well as current works. Specific topics include prenatal and biological development, the development of cognitive, linguistic, and social and emotional abilities. Intended for non-majors. Prerequisite: PSYCH 101 or PSYCH 102. This course is a great option for non-majors who have taken Psych 101 and are interested in pursuing further studies of human psychology.
Note: This course has replaced PSYCH 306 for satisfying the Individuals and Societies (I&S) elective for non-majors at UW.
