Outlines product manager responsibilities in the software business planning environment, providing an understanding of key market opportunities and competitive analysis functions, product strategy and planning, company capability assessment, and investment, resource and timeline planning. Addresses methods of reviewing and adjusting the business plan and finances during the software development project, along with the development of internal business documents and presentations. Product Requirements: Planning and Delivering Your Product

Strategies for planning and managing successful software development projects. Provides an understanding of the concepts and skills needed to lead software projects from initial vision through release. Introduces key techniques and methods used during project requirements, analysis, design, development and testing phases. Focus on overall project leadership and product management deliverables including requirements, project level business case and project plan. Topics:

Sales, Marketing and Support – Launching Your Product

Provides an understanding of the tools and techniques to drive market awareness and support the sales cycle, along with customer support processes. Addresses final preparation processes for product launch, including marketing materials, internal and external training, and external documentation. Addresses concept of operational readiness.
