The reliable and secure operation of information systems and communication networks is increasingly important as threats to their integrity multiply in number and complexity. The Information Systems Security Certificate Program provides comprehensive and cutting-edge protective strategies to information professionals responsible for implementing and administering organization-wide security measures.
Comprised of three courses: Securing the Business Data Environment, Securing Systems and Networks and Building Secure Environments, this program provides you with the knowledge and skills needed to understand and apply technical protective measures to every aspect of a business that relies on information processing. Each course in the program builds on the previous course, culminating in a thorough understanding of the subject. Taught by respected industry professionals and approved by the UW Computer Science and Engineering Department, the depth of knowledge gained in this program gives you a professional advantage in this highly-competitive field.
Participants earn 9 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) from the University of Washington.
