Rodney Brown

Brown works on a broad variety of environmental issues, ranging from hazardous waste cleanups to pollution control regulations to natural resource management. He was the principal author of Washington's Superfund law, and he has served on many governmental commissions, including those that led to the creation of the Growth Management Act and the Regulatory Reform Act. He most recently served on the Governor's Climate Action Team and the Washington State Blue Ribbon Commission on Transportation.

James F. Shellooe, P.E.
Seattle Area Manager, AMEC Earth and Environmental

Shellooe has 30 years of experience managing many large multi-discipinary environmental projects. Previously managing operations for MACTEC, Arcadis, and ICF Kaiser Engineers, he has built and led teams that provided environmental consulting services. His environmental compliance project experience includes the I405 Kirkland Stage 1 Widening and other WSDOT projects, the Monorail Project, roadway and containment facilities for IT Corporation's commercial hazardous waste facilities, Elf Atochem Tacoma site remediation (Governor's Environmental Excellence Award), the Commencement Bay South Tacoma Channel Remediation Project for the EPA, and process remediation support for OXY Glenn Springs (Tacoma) and the US Army Corps of Engineers (Umatilla Army Depot in Oregon).

David Tetta
President, Alton Associates

Tetta is a senior policy adviser with the Environmental Protection Agency. He has more than 25 years experience in environmental regulation issues and programs, including air, water, hazardous waste and Superfund operations. Tetta is currently involved in a variety of strategic planning and information technology issues for EPA's Seattle office. He has a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and an M.P.A. in Public Affairs. Tetta is also involved in a variety of volunteer efforts in the environmental area, and is a former Board President of Earthcorps. He has been teaching for the Environmental Law and Regulation certificate program since 2001, and in 2006 received an Excellence in Teaching award for his work with this program.

Tim Trohimovich, A.I.C.P., J.D.
Planning Director, Futurewise

Trohimovich has more than 20 years of growth management experience, most recently as Comprehensive Planning Division Manager at the City of Redmond, where he participated in GMA appeals and worked extensively with citizens, elected officials, and planners. Tim has also worked on land use issues as hearing examiner in McCleary and Elma, as a Legal Planner for the Department of Ecology, and in Grays Harbor. He is AICP certified and is a member of the Washington and Oregon State Bar Associations.
