Business development includes a number of techniques designed to create and grow a business.

Taught by vice presidents in charge of business development for leading local companies, this program is ideal for those seeking:

Participants in this nine-month certificate program learn how to:

• Determine the best methods to achieve business growth
• Prioritize and develop opportunities
• Create and deliver compelling business proposals and plans to secure resources and sponsorship
• Influence and negotiate agreements

Participants gain these skills through lively interactive class sessions discussing top case studies, working on personal or local business development opportunities, applying principles from leading business texts to project work and presenting practicum business plans to the program advisory board and the sponsoring organizations management team.
