Please read through all the guidelines before deciding to take this course.

This course is right for you if you

• already have a fairly advanced level of English
• plan on taking the IELTS test and want to improve your score
• would like to develop your overall English skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking, grammar and overall accuracy) in the context of preparing for a high-stakes English language proficiency test

This course may not be right for you if you

• do not need to take an English proficiency test
• have a beginning or low intermediate level of skill in English

Please Note: IEP students need to have completed Level 4 classes or have been placed in the Upper Division to take this IELTS Preparation course.

Smoking is prohibited in all university facilities, including those in Downtown Seattle. Please read the smoking policies of the University of Washington and of the City of Seattle policy before you come to class.
