Improve your score on the IELTS!
IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. There are two forms of IELTS. The Academic Form is for people who need to demonstrate their English proficiency for entry into university and for professional licensing; the General Form is used by some employers and for immigration. This test is accepted all over the world; about 1 million candidates take it every year. The purpose of IELTS is similar to other English tests, but there are several unique characteristics. First, IELTS is truly a test of international English so you may hear many different accents in the listening section. Second, the reading, writing and listening parts of the test are all paper-based, so you do not need to worry about technical problems. Third, the speaking part of the test is an interview with a live human being, not a computer recording! This advanced level course will help you prepare for the test by practicing strategies and developing your reading, writing, listening and speaking skills.
