Do you have trouble following conversations in English? Do you find there are many common idioms that you don't understand? Are you a little uncomfortable when you have to talk in English? Then Advanced Conversation may be the right course for you.

There are two sections of this course. Advanced Conversation: Vocabulary & Idioms focuses on understanding of commonly used idioms and slang in American speech. Advanced Conversation: Conversation Management focuses on conversation management skills:

• Advanced Conversation: Vocabulary & Idioms meets Monday and Wednesday
• Advanced Conversation: Conversation Management meets Tuesday and Thursday

Both sections focus on improving your ability to communicate well in conversation.
So that you may take both courses, each section has a different textbook and a different emphasis.

• Gain confidence speaking in English
• Increase your use of idioms and common vocabulary for conversations
• Learn conversation management skills
