Business for International Professionals is an intensive 10-week certificate program focusing on global business with a business English language component. It will help you

• gain a better understanding of trade, marketing, law and finance in an environment of increasingly global competition
• improve business English language skills
• network with faculty and other business professionals
• accomplish successful business negotiations
• experience American culture in Seattle, a beautiful and vibrant Pacific Northwest city

BUSIP has been designed by an advisory board of UW faculty with contributions and guidance from many industry professionals.

Those who successfully complete the program receive a UW Certificate in Business for International Professionals and 18 Continuing Education Units. BUSIP meets eligibility requirements for an F-1 student visa. After completing this certificate program, you will qualify for the Business English Internship Class (BEIC).
