What to Expect
Here are some of the many things you can expect when you study in the SIEBL on the University of Washington main campus.
Before Classes Begin During the Institute » End of the Quarter End of the Quarter
Closing Ceremony
There will be a closing ceremony with refreshments. You and your family will be invited to attend. You will receive a program memento and a completion award as well as a group photo. Students are encouraged to present a group skit or slide show at the closing ceremony.
Your I-20
Our immigration specialists will help F-1 visa students to transfer their I-20 to their graduate program upon completion of the SIEBL program.
Keeping in Touch
We strongly encourage SIEBL students to share their email address and other contact information with each other. You will become an important support network for each other as you face the challenges of graduate education. Our staff will also check in with the student group during the following academic year.
