Downtown Seattle - the commercial heart of the city - is the perfect place to improve your business English!
The Intensive Business English Program (IBEP), a 10-week certificate program, uses the resources of the city to increase your

  • fluency and pronunciation in business situations (social interactions, transactions and negotiations, meetings, telephone conversations, presentations)
  • knowledge of business terminology
  • written business communication skills (letters, faxes, reports, e-mail)
  • awareness of the business environment in the United States
  • knowledge of business technologies, such as the Web and Web-related business concepts
You will meet other students who need English for their jobs, are going to study English at a university, or need better oral skills to interact in an English-speaking community.

IBEP meets eligibility requirements for an F-1 student visa. After completing this certificate program, you may qualify for the Business English Internship Class (BEIC) with a 650 TOEIC score.
