Meet and help international students studying English. You will gain experience for future overseas or ESL teaching, fulfill community service requirements or develop a language/culture exchange.

There are two types of volunteer opportunities:

• Conversation Exchange Partner: We match you with international students based on the language you would like to practice or by a general interest in helping an international student to practice English. Meeting arrangements are made by you and your conversation partner. Learn more...»
• In-Class Facilitator: You come to our classes to assist our English language teachers in providing conversation practice for students. Due to the large number of participants, it is important that volunteers be assigned to particular class sections. Learn more...»

For both opportunities, we ask volunteers to make a 10-session or once-per-week commitment. At the end of the quarter, you can request a letter documenting your work in our program.
