Applying for Housing
To apply for EFS housing, visit the Housing & Food Services website. The EFS and 2013-14 Academic Year housing applications will be available beginning at 2 p.m. on Thursday, May 8.
Your EFS assignment will be based on your application date for the academic year, so it is important that you complete both applications as early as possible.
HFS will make every effort to assign you to the same room for both periods. However, you may be assigned to a different room for the academic year if you request a Theme Community or Winter Break Housing, or if one or both of your applications is submitted after June 15.
If your room assignment for EFS is different than the one assigned for the academic year, your room change deadline will be 12 noon on Sunday, September 15.
HFS begins sending EFS room assignment information in late July.
HFS will cancel your EFS application if you do not apply for academic year housing or if you cancel your academic year application before moving in for EFS, unless you have been confirmed as a formal sorority recruitment participant or as a fraternity pledgee.
The earliest you may move into your EFS room is Sunday, August 25.
If you have questions, or need additional information about housing for EFS, please contact Housing and Food Services directly at 206-543-4059 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
