Jamie Tomosada, Woodinville, WA
Jamie Tomosada works for the King County Wastewater Division as an engineer with the Brightwater Treatment Plant project based in Woodinville, Wash. Jamie interned with King County while in school and now, as a full-time employee, has seen a shift in the type of knowledge she needs to have in order to do her job.

Ryan Townsend, Columbia, SC
Ryan Townsend is an Infantry Officer in the U.S. Army. Currently based at Fort Jackson in Columbia, South Carolina, Ryan works in the plans office for the 5th Brigade, 87th Division.

Although Ryan's job within the brigade doesn't involve elements of construction engineering, he plans to pursue a career in the industry when his commitment with the Army is fulfilled. ... (more)


Kimberly Hakola, San Diego, CA
Kimberly Hakola is already a Husky. But when it came time to pursue a graduate degree, she was more influenced by convenience and curriculum than by school loyalty.

"When I was looking at different degree programs, I realized I couldn't do a traditional program," Hakola said. (more)


Lin Heath, Atlanta, GA
Lin Heath travels most of the week and gets his work done with the help of computers and e-mail. So when it came time to pursue a graduate degree, the UW Online Graduate Program in Construction Engineering was the right fit.
