AEP Diagnostic Examination
If you are a non-native speaker of English and a non-US citizen at the time that you enroll in classes at the University of Washington, you may need to fulfill the UW's English language requirement. The English language requirement applies to undergraduate, graduate and transfer students.
To meet your English language requirement through the University of Washington's Academic English Program (AEP), you should begin by registering for the AEP Diagnostic Examination. This examination determines which - IF ANY - English language classes you need. Students who do not take the AEP Diagnostic Examination are automatically placed in the lowest level English language course, 100. |
