| Description: |
For over 35 years, this popular Health Sciences Tour Program excites high school students from around the state as they share in "cutting edge" technology at the Warren G. Magnuson Health Science Center and the University of Washington Medical Center. Tour groups may see a demonstration of Dr. Richard Blandau's special collection of human embryos and fetuses or view E. Coli bacteria. Students study the brain with a fascinating Anesthesiology Simulator demonstration and a visit to Dr. Eric Chudler's Neurofphysiology Laboratory. Tours are regularly scheduled on the first and third Thursdays of each month. |
